Champion Chase looking like Realt Dubh's target
LAST year's Arkle third Realt Dubh will stick to 2m, with the Sportingbet.com Queen Mother Champion Chase the preferred option for his Cheltenham Festival target rather than the Ryaniar over 5f further.
"I'm nearly certain that he's going to go for the two-mile race," said Noel Meade. "We had a look at it and decided that the Ryanair probably isn't as good a race but it looks far more competitive.
"There's about seven in that race with a chance whereas there's probablyonly the top three to worry about in the Queen Mother. The horse is absolutely flying. Paul Carberry schooled him during the week and said that he's never felt as good."
Realt Dubh was a general 16-1 shot for the Ryanair, although BetVictor went 25-1, while his price ranges from 16-1 to 25-1 for the Queen Mother, with Betfred best-priced about his chances.
